These terms cover buying and using Capture Companion ("the app"), sold by DigiOp, Dublin, Ireland. By buying or using the app you agree to them.

1.Your licence

When you buy, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on up to two (2) Macs that you own or control. The licence is yours; please don't share your unlock code, resell it, or redistribute the app.

2.One-time purchase & updates

The app is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Your licence includes updates to the app at no extra cost. We may in future offer separate paid tiers or add-ons with extra features; those are optional and don't affect what you already bought.

3.Refunds

If the app doesn't earn its keep, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked. This is in addition to any rights you have under Irish and EU consumer law.

4.What the app is — and isn't

Important: Capture Companion is a safety aid, not a guarantee. It helps you notice tether drops, setting drift, weak signal and low disk space sooner — but it cannot promise that you will never lose a shot, miss a frame, or experience a failure on set. You remain responsible for your own equipment, backups and shoot.

The app reads information from Capture One and your local network and shows it to you; it does not control your camera connection, manage your files, or replace your own checks and backups.

5.Warranty & liability

The app is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, DigiOp is not liable for any lost shots, lost data, lost income, or other indirect or consequential loss arising from use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights. If we are found liable despite the above, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

6.Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, and don't use it to break the law or anyone else's terms (including Capture One's).

7.Independence

Capture Companion is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Capture One A/S. "Capture One" is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to describe compatibility.

8.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction.
